Endurance Van

Commitment in confinement - not for the faint - extreme work in the back of a van. Works of extreme duration, volume, frequencies, repetition, etc. will explore the reaches of one's determination in an exercise of will.

Danielle Adairpresents a "part endurance test, part tongue-twister, which examines the particular internal language and language usage of the US military as a metaphor for the operations of the Force."

SE Barnett

Los Angeles based artists Hillary Mushkin and S.E. Barnet have been working together periodically for six years on collaborations that challenge the differentiation between real and virtual worlds. Using video projections, performance and new media technologies, their collaborative work explores mediated experiences of space, time and identity. In 2006 their collaborative project Mario's Furniture was exhibited at Telic Arts Exchange in Los Angeles' Chinatown.

Barnet is currently pursuing a PhD in London at Kingston University and will be exhibiting her work at deSoto Gallery in Los Angeles this spring. Mushkin is currently working on a public artwork in Los Angeles with architects Rios Clementi Hale Studios and is a Howard Foundation Fellow.
